PS 129Q is located at College Point, Queens, New York. This new building is designed by Kenny & Khan Architects PC. This project comes under the NYC Green Schools Guide and Rating System and will achieve compliance with the Local Law 86 of 2005. Akcel Systems has provided building management system for this project. Project includes controls for Glycol Hot Water System with two Condensing Boilers, Chilled Water System with (8) Modular Air-Cooled Chillers on the roof, Custom built Roof Top Units, Energy & Temperature/Humidity Monitoring, VAV Boxes, etc. We also implemented required custom sequences to reduce energy consumption of the facility.
