PS-24 Andrew Jackson is a New York City district school located at Queens. This new building is designed by Graves-MMA JV Architects, PLLC and MEP Engineer for this project is Loring Consulting Engineers Inc. The overall new school consists of five stories plus bulkhead and cellar levels with a total zoning floor area of 125,155 square feet which will accommodate 692 additional students for Community School District 25. Akcel Systems has provided building management system for this project. Project includes controls for (3) Custom Roof Top Units, Chilled Beams in Classrooms, Glycol Hot Water System, Glycol Chilled Water System with (8) Modular Air-Cooled Chillers on the roof, Fuel Oil System and Generator Monitoring, Energy & Temperature/Humidity Monitoring, VAV Boxes, etc. We also implemented required custom sequences to reduce energy consumption of the facility.
